A few months ago, we proudly celebrated receiving the prestigious eTwinning School Label, a testament to our dedication to fostering collaboration, digital innovation, and international learning.

Building on this achievement as an eTwinning school since 2020, Lycée Bachir Nabheni has also been selected as a mentor school in the eTwinning Mentoring Scheme Pilot . In this role, we will partner with a school in Tunisia, guiding and supporting them as they embark on their own eTwinning school journey.

Becoming a mentor school is both a privilege and a responsibility. It gives us the opportunity to share our experience, best practices, and passion for international projects, while also embracing new ideas and perspectives from our partner school. This mentorship will be a mutual learning experience, strengthening mutual understanding and collaboration for both institutions.

The learners collaborate with others to empower individuals and communities to affect change in the distribution of resources in the community. The learners show sensitivity to the issues of poverty, hunger and malnutrition; they also show their empathy and solidarity with poor people, the hungry, the malnourished and those in vulnerable situation. The students plan and implement activities that contribute to reducing poverty in their community. To attain those aims the students plan and run a donation campaign for the profit of poor families in collaboration with the red crescent. The design posters , create mottos and slogans and choose the best for the campaign, they contact the red crescent and inform and solicit the participation of their schoolmates and school teachers and staff. They inform the community through one to one talks or social media, or the radio.
Nabhani's students had a role in extending the bridge of cooperation and synergy and embodying the values of active citizenship by organizing the Ramadan campaign. The students in cooperation with the local branch of the Red Crescent in Hammam Al-Anf collect donations and deliver them to the headquarters of the Crescent, which in turn takes care of distribution to those who deserve it. In this publication, we express our thanks to everyone who organized and contributed to this campaign, including students, parents, educational staff and our students for their effective contribution to the success of this initiative, and our special thanks to the subsidiary body of the Red Crescent in Hammam Al-anf

  4. Communication and Transparency: Establishing clear and open channels of communication among all stakeholders, to ensure that everyone is informed and involved in the decision-making process.

  5. Continuous Improvement: Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, by setting clear goals and regularly evaluating progress, and making adjustments as needed.

  6. Empowerment: Empowering all members of the school community to take ownership of their roles and responsibilities, and to actively contribute to the decision-making process.

No to Discrimination eTwinning Project

The Science and Maths third grade students took part in an interdisciplinary , bilingual eTwinning project dealing with fighting different forms of discriminations . There was a quality exchange between all the students from Bachir Nabheni High school and their peers from other schools in France, Romania and Italy. The project is both in French and English.

  • become future good, respectful citizens who act actively to fight against unfair practices and communicate human values such as mutual aid, the rejection of prejudices and inequalities.
  • have a sense of commitment to solidarity actions.
  • be sensitive to the duty of memory by studying the history of characters who fought discrimination in their time through personal or collective actions.
  • learn to unmask discriminatory practices.
  • use as many  ICT tools as possible provided by the eTwinning platform or elsewhere.

The different activities of the project were rich and culminated in the creation of a card game to help inform learners and people who play it in general about the fight against discrimination of many people nowadays and history.
