A Study Day: The Students and the Use of Social Media
The Ministry of Education organised, on the 23rd of November 2020, a study day at the International Language Center, LAC where students, teachers, and specialists in psychology, sociology, NGOs, Internet security experts gathered to discuss the hot issues of students and the use of social media. The students shared their experiences on how they use social media. The participant experts stressed the hazardous effects of excessive social media use. While the Internet safety experts focused on the dangers and how to responsibly protect oneself from potential abuse. Our students were represented by 2 of their peers during that event. They have also prepared a presentation about the wise use of the internet.
